An Electronic Health Record depends upon a single enterprise-wide Source of Truth for each Client, Provider, and Facility involved in the creation of the EHR.  Registries provide the core Identity Management, Identity Resolution, and Information Integrity services critical to ensuring stakeholder adoption and the mitigation of clinical and financial risks associated with an EHR. For the past 8 years, we have worked with organizations in the planning and design of large scale EHR registries, and in the architecture of registries using Enterprises Master Person Index (EMPI) technologies.  IMT is a partner of Initiate Systems and is Level II Certified on the Initiate Identity Hub.
