Manitoba Learning Network

A joint project with Telewave Communications Corporation and E B Systems Limited, the Manitoba Learning Network was built for educators in the Province of Manitoba. It is a fully interactive television and high-speed data transmission network linking secondary schools throughout rural areas of the province. It uses wireless transmission and digital technology to attain capital and operating costs that are significantly lower than conventional network technologies. Locations range from Flin Flon in the north to the USA border and from Saskatchewan to the eastern edge of Manitoba.
